CASE 1
Environmental and Social Compliance
Audit for Coffee washing station
Description
An environmental audit is a type of evaluation intended to identify environmental compliance and management system implementation gaps, along with related corrective actions. This environmental audit of Muyongwe Coffee Washing Station was recommended by REMA to ensure that it will comply with Environmental and Social regulations and requirements in Rwanda.
The Muyongwe Coffee Washing Station processes fresh coffee beans from farms until they are dry and ready for further treatment and coffee production. This washing station aims to process fresh coffee beans and to build a positive response among consumers by providing them with high quality and job creation.
This study also identified some negative impacts on the socio-economical and biophysical environment such as water pollution, soil pollution and the risk of accidents that may occur to workers during the operation phase.
Different mitigation measures for these negative impacts have been proposed to reduce to the minimum their effects on the socio-economic environment and the biophysical environment.

ESIA for Residential Apartments in Gasabo District /City of Kigali.
Description
Green Dealers Group conducted an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for residential apartment buildings composed of two components to be developed on an area of 1014 m2.

As of the end of 2024, the Green Dealers group conducted the environmental and social impact assessments for 8 housing projects including 1 mixed-use building and 1 residential apartment and 6 big warehouses construction.
